Project Materia is an ongoing investigation into materiality—its history, techniques, and creative possibilities.

A collaboration between Tableau and Edition Solenne, this initiative unites nine internationally acclaimed artists and designers from diverse disciplines to explore three core materials: bronze, marble, and glass.

Together, they have crafted functional artworks that honor the foundations of art, celebrate skilled craftsmanship, and embody the spirit of community.

Each artist and designer visited the production workshops in Pietra Santa, Italy, where the bronze and marble works were forged. These immersive visits nurtured direct relationships between creators and artisans, fostering authentic collaboration throughout the artistic journey.
