The artistic world of Cathrine Raben Davidsen is inhabited by human figures, animals, and plants. In her paintings, human faces and bodies emerge from richly saturated color fields. Her drawings and prints feature shadowy, ethereal figures—floating bodies, owls, deer, whales, and jellyfish—moving through fluid, formless spaces, constantly shifting and dissolving into a new dimension. By depicting this fusion of living beings within a fluid environment, Raben Davidsen delves into the organic connection between humans, animals, and the cosmos.
